THE Treasury Annex, dublin 2

The Treasury Annex is an 8-story office building with a multi-level basement, adjoining the existing Treasury building on its western elevation. Located at the junction of Lower Grand Canal Street and Macken Street, it features a new entrance and connectivity options between the annex, the existing building, and a nearby carpark.

The basement, constructed with a secant pile wall, consists of three levels: Lower Ground (offices and plant rooms), Basement (plant and ancillary facilities), and Sub-Basement (tanks). The upper floors include office spaces with long-span post-tensioned slabs and landscaped terraces at setbacks on the 3rd, 6th, and 7th floors. A screened plant room is located at roof level. Stability is ensured by RC core walls and floor diaphragm action.
